Samsung Rolls Out August 2025 Security Update for Galaxy S24 Series — No One UI 8 Beta Yet
Samsung is rolling out the August 2025 security update for Galaxy S24 series users in Korea, focusing on security fixes and performance tweaks, but without the One UI 8 beta.
Galaxy S24 series gets the August 2025 security update in Korea, bringing enhanced protection and stability improvements.

For users of the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in South Korea, Samsung has started to distribute the August 2025 security update. The Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 recently received updates similar to this deployment, which did not include the One UI 8 beta.
With a blank changelog, the new security patch just aims to strengthen device defences against security risks. Although no significant features are added, customers should anticipate slight speed enhancements for more seamless daily use.
For now, the update is exclusive to Korean users, but Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to other regions, including the US and Europe, in the coming days or weeks. The One UI 8 beta for flagship devices hasn’t started yet, but its launch is likely only a matter of time.
How to Update:
Korean users can check for the update via Settings > Software update > Download and install. Users in other markets should keep an eye out, as the patch will be arriving soon.
